Cumbria really is a fantastic place for a holiday. For a start, you are surrounded by the outstanding natural beauty of the fells which provide everything from adrenalin-fuelled mountaineering challenges to a gentle level stroll.

Grasmere is right in the heart of the Lake District within easy reach of Keswick and the North Lakes; Windermere, Bowness and Kendal to the South; Penrith and the delights of the Eden valley to the East; and for those brave enough, the passes of Hardknott and Wrynose lead to the Western Lakes and the Cumbrian Coast.

Natural beauty is all around with shops, cafes, restaurants and many attractions to enjoy on those occasional rainy days.
